She has served in key roles at Mulago National Referral Hospital and SAS Clinic, providing high-quality patient care, performing surgical procedures, running OPD clinics, and supervising medical students.<\/p>\n<p>She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences. She has completed advanced training in trauma life support, emergency medicine, clinical research, adult life support, and female urology through programs at Yale University and the European Resuscitation Council. She is also an active member of the Association of Surgeons of Uganda, Women in Surgery Africa, and the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.<\/p>\n<p>As a GPAS Scholar and Coordinator of the Kampala Advanced Trauma Course, she has contributed significantly to trauma education\u2014training hundreds of health workers, mentoring senior house officers, and supporting emergency surgery and resuscitation services.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1414\">Known for her integrity, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Namugga is passionate about advancing trauma and surgical services while nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Namugga M.M. is a dedicated Medical Officer and GPAS Trauma Scholar with strong experience in emergency care, general surgery, and medical education.
